Eat Me Cakes Disclaimers

- Each and every one of the cakes we make is an artistic endeavor. That means that you get the individual attention you want for a truly custom cake experience, but we are also bound by the medium with which we are working. We will do our very best to meet all of your demands, but unfortunately, we are unable to defy the laws of physics. When we can, you will be the first to know.

- We ask that all orders be placed at least two weeks prior to your event - we need time to make your cake spectacular! Also, you should keep in mind that dates can fill up - we can only make so many amazing cakes in one day, so the earlier the better!

- Even though we strongly suggest that you order your cake as early as possible, we do offer the chance of rush ordering for an additional fee (provided at our discretion at the time of your quote).

- A 50% deposit must be made when your order is finalized. The remainder is to be paid in full one week prior to your event. All rush orders (if accepted) must be paid in full up front as soon as the order is finalized.

- Any cancellations (are you crazy?!) must be made at least 14 days before the event for a full refund. Any cancellations made after this will receive a 50% refund of the total cost of the order. If, at this time you have not already paid the remaining 50% of your order, you will not receive your initial down payment back. No refunds will be given for any cancellations within 72 hours of the event.

- Eat Me Cakes provides deliveries for a minimal fee. Keep in mind that some cakes require delivery and on-site set up. Of course, we will let you know all of this at the time of your order.

- If you do decide to pick up your own cake, we are not responsible for your confection once it leaves our kitchen. (So be careful!)

- We offer non-profit discounts! Let us know about your organization when you contact us!

- Most of the parts used on our cakes are fully and 100% edible. We will let you know if other, non-edible pieces were used in your cake for any reason. Eat Me Desserts nor its artists can be held responsible if little Jimmy (or anyone else) decides to eat the non-edible parts about which you were informed.
